Kent Regional Project Manager

Overview

An Experienced and enthusiastic regional Project Manager is required to support the development of the Wishford Group of independent schools. 

The Successful candidate will have an analytical mind and great organisational skills and be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures.

Working with the Schools' leadership teams, the group executive team, appointed architects, other members of the design teams, Statutory authorities and sub-contractors, the Regional Project Manager will:

  • Manage the design and development of two new classroom blocks and the reconfiguration of the existing school building at St David's Prep. A proposal to develop this site is currently at RIBA Stage 1, pending pre-planning application feedback from Bromley Council.
  • Manage the design and development of a new sports hall, associated parking and some other minor reconfiguration works at St Faith's Prep. This project is currently transitioning to RIBA Stage 2 and has received positive pre-planning application feedback from Dover District Council.
  • Develop and manage the phased repair of the roof, rainwater goods and external facades of The Mead School.

The Successful candidate will have the following Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience as construction project manager.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and Health and Safety requirements.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Able to travel easily to the Three schools.
  • BSc/BA or equivalent qualification in relevant field.
  • PM or equivalent certification will be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits

Salary from £34000 to £36000 per year

Location

Royal Tunbridge Wells, Canterbury and the Bromley area of Kent.
