Leadership Team

Sam Antrobus

Executive Chairman

Sam founded Wishford in 2010, fulfilling a long-held ambition to combine his passion for education with his experience in building and developing businesses. Prior to this, Sam was Principal at Phoenix Equity Partners, an investment firm. Sam holds a first class degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath.

Sam leads the strategic direction of the group, working closely with the Heads of each school to devise and deliver their development plans.

Jenny Burrett

Director of Strategy & Education

Jenny was a founding member of the Wishford Schools Advisory Board and moved into an executive role in September 2016 as Director of Strategy and Education. A highly experienced Head, Jenny led Felsted Prep school through a period of significant growth and development.

Jenny works with the group's Heads and senior leaders to drive continuous improvement in each school's educational offering and to support curriculum initiatives across the group.

Mark Dingle

Director of Operations

Mark joined the Wishford Schools team in August 2018, taking up the newly created role of Director of Operations. Prior to joining Wishford, Mark led a number of major projects at Nationwide Building Society, following a distinguished career in the Army.

Mark works closely with the group's senior leaders to ensure the operational aspects of the group's activity support each school's educational offering.

Paul Easterbrook

Director of Compliance

Paul joined Hatherop Castle as Headmaster in 1991 and has led the school through several phases of change and development. In addition to his role as Headmaster, Paul taught English, directed the school’s end of year production and played an active role in the boarding house. In September 2017, Paul took up the new role of Director of Education & Compliance, focusing on inspection preparation and the sharing of best practice across the group.

Alexandra Platz

Head of Financial Operations

Alexandra joined the Wishford group in April 2014, having previously worked at KPMG in Reading, St Albans and Bristol. Alexandra holds a first class degree in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter.

Alexandra works closely with the Bursars and School Business Managers within each of the schools in the Wishford group, providing support and oversight on all financial matters.

Kate Ross

Head of Marketing & Communications

Kate joined the Wishford group in May 2014. Previously, Kate provided freelance strategic marketing support and copywriting to small businesses, was Deputy Editor of Gardening Which? magazine and News Editor for the Royal Horticultural Society, in which role she also supported the Marketing Department.

Kate oversees the marketing strategy of each of the schools within the Wishford group, providing advice and support on the production of marketing materials and the digital marketing strategy.

Joanna Scott

Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Jo joined Wishford Schools in July 2018 from Waybourne, the family office of the Dyson family, where she held the position of Financial Controller. 

Jo oversees financial planning and analysis across the group, helping to ensure our schools are well resourced to ensure the delivery of excellent education.
