St David's College joins the Wishford Schools group

We are delighted to welcome St David’s College, West Wickham, to the Wishford Schools group. This highly successful school, with around 150 girls and boys aged 4 to 11, brings the number of schools in the group to five.

Wishford’s commitment to providing happy, supportive and innovative environments in which children are challenged to achieve amazing things has proved enormously successful at its four existing schools: Heywood Prep in Corsham, Wiltshire, St Faith’s Prep in Canterbury, Kent, Hatherop Castle in Cirencester, Gloucestershire and St Edward’s Prep in Reading.

In joining the group, St David’s College can look forward to benefiting from a thriving and active community, where ideas and best practice are shared between staff, and where children enjoy a wide variety of inter-school activities. St David’s will also benefit from the support of the Wishford team, including the group’s Advisory Board of five highly experienced headteachers.

Sam Antrobus, Executive Chairman of Wishford, said, ‘St David’s College is an excellent school, with a strong track record of providing its pupils with a rich and varied education, as well as successfully preparing for entry to senior schools. We are looking forward to working with the staff, parents and pupils to build upon these successes, while maintaining the family ethos that makes St David’s such a special place.’
